RISHTA 3.2

RISHTA is a mobile app supported by the Uttar Pradesh Rural Livelihood Mission, Department of Rural Development, Government of Uttar Pradesh, aimed at efficiently reaching the members of Self Help Groups (SHGs) with fast poverty alleviation and government schemes. This app strives to connect all SHGs associated with the mission to easily access the benefits of schemes without any human intervention through technology-based means; eliminating the need for unnecessary visits to government offices, hence saving their time, energy, and money. Some key features of the RISHTA app include: (1) Information on government benefits, applying for schemes, and receiving benefits can be done through the mobile app with the help of Group Friends; (2) Advance information about schemes and benefits will be directly available on the mobile app; (3) Financial benefits of all schemes will be directly transferred to the accounts of group members without any intermediaries. This not only makes it easier for rural residents to access scheme benefits but also prevents corruption and embezzlement in transactions.
